Robert Willis

The idea for Hudson River Watch Company was born from our struggle to find great looking, quality watches at an affordable price. Robbie, a longtime watch enthusiast, grew more and more disappointed with what the watch market had to offer. It seemed the only great looking, high quality watches out there cost thousands of dollars- fine if you intend to wear only one watch all the time and can reach the price tag, but what about those of us who can’t reach the high price tag? Who want to wear a variety of different watches?  Inspired by the neighborhoods and streets surrounding us here in New York City, we began designing watches for fun, then exploring the watchmaking process, and before we knew it, we were ordering prototypes and forming a company.

We formed a New York corporation for Robert.
