Myra Nawabi

Myra Nawabi is originally from Kabul Afghanistan. As a young refugee she found many challenges and opportunities in her newly adopted country which she now proudly calls home. Taking advantage of available access to education her first instinct was to give back as an educator whilst teaching middle school students the joy of mathematics. Realizing that there were other ambitions she wanted to pursue she eventually joined Lockheed Martin Space Systems; to be part of an industry that had long fascinated her since she first witnessed the maiden launch of the space shuttle on television. As a working professional she both values and enjoys her social life; nicknamed the ‘ Social Secretary’ she is the go to person for putting together get togethers for friends and family on a regular basis; along side being an organizing volunteer for the American Diabetes Association’s annual Tour De Cure in Silicon Valley. Being a working mom means time is always at a premium, so she is always onthe look out for online resources and Apps to make life a little easier. However, none of these were meeting her unique needs, talking about this to her friends and friends of friends it turned out her needs were not so unique. Taking in the spirit of entrepreneurism that permeates Silicon valley and tapping into the resourcefulness that she is so well known for Myra soon pulled together a team to work on an App to make it a breeze to plan and keep up with your social life.

We formed a California corporation for Myra.
