Jeff Unger: One of my favorite blog posts you have ever written was called “Beyond Showing Up“.  How does an entrepreneur design a hiring process to find employees who get that their job “is to surprise and delight and to change the agenda”?

Seth Godin: I think hiring is an old-school practice. In my experience, you’re better off working with freelancers and other informal arrangements and then bringing people on AFTER you see how world-changing they are.
