Pete Appezzato

Pete Appezzato is the Founder & CEO of Rent-A-Host – Short Stay Solutions. His company provides property management and other creative services to those who sometimes rent their apartment on a short term basis to business travelers or tourists. This exploding trend is becoming a preferred alternative to boring, over-priced hotels. The traveler saves money and gets a real feel of being a local while the apartment owner makes money for renting currently unneeded space. WIth several units, Pete was successfully involved in this for several years. The idea for this business was born when helping out a friend who had a family emergency and had to leave NYC for a month. Mixing that situation with his experience renting his units, as well as his use of gadgets and technology to increase productivity and efficiency, he developed this service business to provide convenient, unique solutions unavailable until now.  Pete worked for his father’s construction company growing up in NJ. While attending Rider University, he studied abroad in London and Tokyo for a time. After receiving his degree in Finance and International Business, his career mainly consisted on Wall St. but always dreamed of starting his own business.

We formed a New York corporation for Pete.
