Are there any restrictions on the name of my corporation?
So long as it isn’t confusingly similar to someone else’s name, you should be able to file Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization using your name choice.
There are just a few limitations. For a professional corporation (e.g, a medical corporation or a law corporation), you have to have the words “Professional Corporation”, “law”, or “medical” corporation to describe the professional service.
You also can’t use certain regulated terms (e.g., “bank” or “thrift”).
